Tutt Bryant Equipment, the leading multi franchise national distributor of construction equipment and cranes in Australia proudly offer a complete quarry, mining and recycling solution including three core products –Metso mobile crushers and screens, Kawasaki wheel loaders and Sumitomo excavators.

The Metso Lokotrack jaw crushers are based around the Nordberg C series which combine 25 years of manufacturing mobile crushers with the latest materials and technology. “By the nature of their work, crushers have a lot of high-value wear components, so not only do we have to have the right machines in stock, we also have to ensure that we stock the right components to support our customers. We have put a concerted effort into bolstering our stock levels of wears and spares to support our bullish outlook on the market,” explains Paul Doran, Metso Business Development Manager, who has long exposure to construction materials.

The pinned and bolted structure of the Metso mobile crusher ensures high durability. High inertia flywheels combined with hydraulic drive, large feed opening and Cat engines give you unmatched crushing performance. All of this is controlled by the Metso IC system which optimises production and monitors machine functions and critical parameters. Good access platforms make operation and servicing safe. Standard inclusions for Tutt Bryant Equipment specification jaw crushers include belt protection plates, side conveyors, magnets, radio remote control, and interlock cables. Other options are also available to tailor units to customer requirements. Metso jaw crushers can be used as standalone primary crushers or as part of a multi stage operation.

Tutt Bryant Equipment partnered with Kawasaki have worked extensively to bring the new Z7 range of wheel loaders to Australia. It is an exciting time within the loader market with Kawasaki’s recent developments providing a competitive edge not previously seen before, Mark Ewan, Business Development Manager expresses “it’s wonderful to have these machines reach our shores. They are impressive in performance and I look forward to continuing the rollout of the Z7 range throughout the year.” When queried on the most significant improvement to the wheel loader range, Mark confirms that “the revamped hydraulics is what makes these machines so efficient and powerful.” Kawasaki has moved from a gear-driven hydraulic pump to a more fuel-efficient and flexible piston pump, allowing increased flexibility for the engine RPMs to match the hydraulic-force needs of the moment. The Z7 Range have an industry-exclusive open-centre, load-sensing hydraulic system – similar to those proven on hydraulic excavators.

Compared to closed systems found on competitive wheel loaders, Kawasaki’s open-centre system provides the operator real feel at the control lever. All models feature automotive-style pulse-width modulation shifting, which provides ultra-smooth shifting up and down as the loader move through various cycles.

Sumitomo Heavy Industries commenced production of excavators in Japan in 1964, and now distribute their products all around the world. Sumitomo Excavators have been distributed by the Tutt Bryant Group in Australia since 1991. The Sumitomo range starts from a 7,090kg class unit and up to 80,000kg class excavators. Manufactured at the Chiba Works in Japan, the facility is designed for one purpose – to produce the world’s finest high precision & high quality excavators. DASH 6 SERIES: These are the latest edition to the range and feature an Interim TIER 4 engine, stronger boom & dipper arms, HBCV, improved undercarriage components for longer wear life, a ROPS certified Cabin with Pressurised Air Conditioning and a High Definition LCD 175 mm colour monitor and rear view camera.

All units have excellent all round vision and come with a 3 Year/6000 hour power train warranty. The Minimum Swing Radius units have also been upgraded and now have the same features as the DASH 6 Series and are ideal for urban construction sites and traffic restricted road maintenance sites. They are equipped with new Sumitomo Intelligent Engine and Hydraulics System which has proved in tests to save fuel and money over the previous models and against many of the competitors.
