VicRoads Post Budget 2016/17 Industry Briefing

DR ELIZABETH GIBSON, General Manager of the CMPA looks at the post budget briefing from VicRoads.
The following are highlights taken from the VicRoads post budget briefing presentation by Peter Todd VicRoads Chief Operating Officer held on 20 June 2016.
Outer suburban road projects The upgrade of three key arterial roads in the outer suburbs is proposed:
- $139m for Plenty Road, – McKimmies Road to Bridge Inn Road.
- $50m for Dohertys Road, – Fitzgerald Road to Grieve Parade, Laverton North.
- $38m for Hallam Road, Ormond Road – to South Gippsland Highway.
- $10m planning for future – Outer Suburban Road Projects.
Major Works Projects – Summary
These works will be delivered across seven VicRoads Regions and also through the Metropolitan Electrical Assets team.
This funding is spread across Recurrent and Capital activities.
VicRoads intends to give regional briefings and when the information is made available CMPA will inform Members.
