Extractive Industry Courses in 2018

The Australian quarrying industry has provided the building blocks and paved the way for our vast and rapidly developing country. Each day, Australia uses around 400,000 tonnes of aggregates for our housing, building, road works and community infrastructure. Fortunately, Australia is rich in earth’s resources. As a result the quarrying and extractive industries offer a wealth of career potential.
Box Hill Institute offers a progressive range of courses in quarrying and extractive industries, from entry level to advanced, with many available as traineeships. These courses are flexible to suit your individual needs and those of your employer, and are designed to meet current regulatory and industry requirements.
All courses are nationally accredited, therefore your qualification will be recognised Australia wide. I am pleased to advise that in 2018, BHI will offer the following Qualifications:
RII20215 Certificate II in Surface Extraction Operations
RII30115 Certificate III in Surface Extraction Operations
RII40115 Certificate IV in Surface Extraction Operations
RII50115 Diploma of Surface Extraction Operations Management
RII60215 Advanced Diploma of Extractive Industries Management
The Certificate IV and the Diploma courses will commence in February 2018.
The Advanced Diploma will commence in March 2018
