The committee members representing our Associate Membership and providing an invaluable contribution towards the growth of the CMPA and the extractive industry.

Mark Thompson, Oli Vibrators – CMPA Associate Chairperson
Mark is the Managing Director of Oli Vibrators Pty Ltd (Aust) and has over 20 years of experience in the engineering game. Starting his working life as an Aircraft Fitter, he has held many roles from Service Manager dealing with mixed gases, decompression chambers to mainstream marketing for approximately 11 years through to Industrial Sales and Service.

Working as the National Sales Manager with the global materials handling company WAM Australia from 2004-2009, Mark worked closely with the extractive industries throughout Australia and the Pacific Rim offering an array of affordable solutions to a variety of material handling, dust suppression and vibration technology issues. In 2008 as part of a global initiative, the Italian based Oli Group approached Mark to form Oli Vibrators (Aust).

Oli Australia was formed in 2009 with Mark at the helm, together with his trusty team of experts, the company formed a network of resellers and distributors around Australia and New Zealand and he and his team was soon to be recognised as the go to people in the field of vibration. Mark prides himself on being in the envious position of having formed many relationships throughout the world with both large and the very small industries and as the supplier of trusted quality vibratory motors and Flowaids such as Oli & Visam.

Mark is a Fellow of the Australian Marketing Institute has been an Associate Member and sponsor of the CPMA since 2004 and an active member of the CMPA Associate Committee for many years’ his expertise in vibration technology together with his can do attitude has enabled him to work with many industry associations, infrastructure projects and authorities.

Tej Panesar, TSP Group of Companies

Tej Panesar, is the owner of the TSP Group of Companies and supplies Wear Parts to the Quarry Industry. A Mechanical Engineer with a diploma in Finance and over 40 years of Industry experience ranging from After Sales Customer Support, Product sourcing and Supply, Business acquisition and Operational Transition, Business Process Re-engineering, business culture change management, Asset maintenance management and Project Management of Operations and IT systems including PRONTO and SAP.

Having Established TSP Group as a Technically Superior Products supplier, Tej focusses on offering Wear Resistant Products and Solutions and drives
the business of High-Quality Products backed up with amongst the best Product Support services the Industry has even seen.

“Where There is Wear, We are There” is the theme behind working closely with customers to understand their operations and wear issues, Tej does root-causeanalysis for improving product designs that enhance the life of Wear Components and so many of his products so designed are Industry-Firsts.

Tej works closely with the CMPA Members and Associates to ensure value addition to the overall good of the Association, Industry and the people involved in supporting the community.

Chris Prowse, CK Prowse & Associates
Chris is the Principal Consultant of CK Prowse & Associates and utilises his broad experience in the extractive and mineral industries, which has been accumulated as a qualified geologist since 1981.

The consultancy primarily operates in Victoria and South Australia providing technical services in geology, resource and royalty assessment and planning issues for extractive industry sites investigations and statutory approvals. Chris is responsible for the management and delivery of strategic advice, project direction and peer review for a range of sand and hard rock projects including advising and presenting expert advice.

Jason Rudge, William Adams
Jason started his career in the Construction Materials industry in 1997 working for Readymix and Pioneer Concrete UK, in various roles.

In 2005 he returned to Australia to continue working within the Construction Materials industry in both Concrete and Quarries up until 2012.

2012 saw Jason move into a role within William Adams focusing on Continuous Improvement within the quarry sector and then into the position of Major Accounts Manager – Quarry & Aggregates. In 2022 Jason moved into the role of Sales Manager, Regional Victoria & Government.

With a true passion for the industry and a strong focus on operational improvement, Jason enjoys assisting customers to focus on improving their business for the short, medium and long term.

Mark Quinn, Lincom Group
Mark joined the Construction Materials Industry in 2011 when he made the move to Australia joining Lincom Group after previously working as an Electrician in his native Ireland.

In 2013 Mark moved from Queensland to Victoria to take on his current role as Lincom Group Area Sales Manager VIC/SA. He enjoys supplying and supporting customers with solutions and equipment to grow their business daily.

The Associate’s Committee is representative of the Associates Membership base and supports the Management Committee through:
• Providing advice on marketing, events, Sand & Stone magazine, website and publications
