By on October 15, 2005

On Saturday 13th August over 200 CMPA Members flocked from around the state to enjoy an evening of great food, wine and entertainment in Traralgon.

The 2005 AGM & Dinner was held at The Premiere Function Centre in Traralgon, a stylish venue with plenty of room to accommodate the largest crowd in the history of CMPA functions!

Activities commenced in the early afternoon with 4-Wheel drive tours of the Loy Yang Power Station, with approximately 35 people taking up the rare opportunity. The Annual Meeting followed in the later afternoon with Pre-Dinner drinks in the bar for partners and guests. Formal proceedings concluded and the dinner was officially opened at 6:30pm to Voting Members, Associate Members, Government representatives, industry personnel, family and friends alike, as they joined together to enjoy the quality entertainment and good company of their fellow industry members.

Sunday activities included a trip out to the historical mining town of Walhalla consisting of Mine Tours, Harley Rides, a BBQ lunch and Steam Train Rides. Over 50 people headed out to enjoy the day.

Thank you to all those who attended the event and thank you also to the Associate Members who sponsored the evening.
