Annual Dinner 2025

The CMPA is celebrating 25 years at this year’s AGM and Dinner. Centrepiece at Melbourne Park (home of the Australian Open) is the venue with spectacular views of the city to take in.

Preparations for the event returning to Melbourne are in full swing with the event to be held:
Date: Saturday 30th August 2025
Location: Centrepiece at Melbourne Park, Olympic Boulevard, Melbourne
Time: 5.00pm for AGM, 5.30pm for Pre-Dinner drinks, 6.30pm for Dinner
Early bird cost: $250 per head (must be paid in full by 30th June 2025)
From 1st July 2025 cost: $275 per head

The talented Brihony Dawson will be back as MC along with a line-up of various entertainers for the evening’s entertainment. Saturday afternoon activities are being considered to take advantage of this spectacular location in the heart of the city.

CMPA would like to extend an invitation to all Members and interested industry parties to attend the following training course.

Work safely Workshop 4
Date: Thursday 22nd May 2025
Time: 8.30am – 4.00pm
Place: Rydges, Geelong

The purpose of these Work Safely Workshops is to provide participants with a refresher in safety training based on the Surface Extraction Operations (quarries) unit RIIWHS201E – Work Safely and follow WHS Policies and Procedures.

Additionally, WorkSafe will be present to give participants the ability to ask questions. Also covered in the training will be an overview of:

• Respirable Crystalline Silica (RCS);

• RCSD Protective Equipment – Fit Test by Crystal Polson of Fit Test Victoria;

• New CMPA Mobile Equipment Operator and Truck Driver (Verification of Competency);

• New Employee Online Guarding training.
