Preferred Suppliers 2024

The CMPA Preferred Suppliers & General Information Reference Manual 2024 has been delivered to all members, Voting, Honorary Voting, Associate and Workforce. The manual provides you with a page of detailed information on your CMPA Preferred Suppliers in words and photos as well as Voting Members who may have machinery, mobile plant or trucks for hire. It also includes emergency contacts, the organisational
structure of the CMPA, useful industry websites, listing of all CMPA products and support documents (including those under development) such as reference manuals, field documents and business tools.

2024-25 Membership Renewals

The Membership Renewal paperwork for 2024/25 has been mailed and emailed out to all members. We have had a fantastic response to date, for those who have not responded as yet it would be greatly appreciated if the application form can be completed and sent back via email, fax, or post. We do require the form to be completed for our records. Once the paperwork has been received a tax invoice will be issued.

Now that the website has been updated there is the option of renewing online. Login in, update your details and purchase your membership. Any queries please contact the Secretariat on 03 5781 0655.

NEW Website launched

The CMPA website re-development project has been completed and launched. We now have a modern, streamlined and more user friendly website for all members and the general public.

SWIM Communications worked in the background over the last year behind the scenes to provide us with the new platform. Thank you to the members of the Management and Associates committees who reviewed and provided feedback to the Secretariat.

We now have a brilliant website that is:

Annual Dinner 2024 – Update

The CMPA AGM and Dinner is one of the best industry events of the year – definitely not one to miss. It is now just over three months away; invitations are going out to members and preparations for the event are being finalised with the event to be held:

Place: RACV Club, Bourke Street, Melbourne
Time: 5.00pm for AGM, 5.30pm for Pre-Dinner drinks, 6.30pm for Dinner on Level 17

The talented Brihony Dawson will be back as MC along with a line-up of musicians for the evening’s entertainment and for dinner. Saturday afternoon activities are being considered to take advantage of this spectacular location in the heart of the city.

CMPA would like to extend an invitation to all Members and interested industry parties to attend the following workshop and webinar.

Minimising Rehabilitation Bonds – Sand Workshop
Date: Thursday 20th June 2024
Time: 8.30am – 4.00pm
Place: Cardinia Club, Pakenham

The purpose of this workshop is to provide participants with appropriate best management practices required to minimise rehabilitation bonds and to develop a CMPA sand quarry progressive rehabilitation guideline table of contents.

The Guideline when developed will also be a mechanism that may be used to keep rehabilitation bonds manageable, minimise liabilities and assist with ensuring your legislative responsibilities are met.
