DR ELIZABETH GIBSON, General Manager of CMPA reports on the Proposed Legislative Changes to the MR(SD)A Act 1990.
The following are legislative changes to the Mineral Resources (Sustainable Development) Act 1990 (MR(SD)A) that were proposed for the Earth Resources Regulation – Continuous Improvement Program. All the proposed changes were seen as a high priority item and would contribute to certainty for investors in the extractive industry. Rankings were given for sector impact and complexity rated from 1-5 (highest).
