Mr Peter Langlands

On the day before the CMPA Annual General Meeting,‘ Wimmera Crushing & Processing’ was launched with a demonstration of a mobile impact crushing plant at Tarranyurk, near Jeparit in the Wimmera region of Victoria.

Following a successful demonstration of the self propelled‘Trakpactor’ in the morning, the attendees including some CMPA members who travelled considerable distances, were treated to a generous lunch at Jeparit, which was greatly appreciated.

Wimmera Crushing & Processing is the result of Roger Aitken of Tarranyurk, and Paul Creek of Horsham, combining resources to fulfill a need for remote, mobile, in-pit crushing plus recycling operations in the region.

While Roger is a long term CMPA member, both he and Paul have joined the CMPA under the name of their new venture, in which the CMPA wishes them all the best for the future.

On another note, a special thanks and congratulations to all those involved with the organising and presentation of the AGM. It was a huge step forward for the CMPA to achieve that level of excellence, particularly with the dinner.
