Worksafe Victoria Incident update
GAVIN MOREIRA, Members Services Manager for the CMPA provides a report on the latest incidents as reported by WorkSafe Victoria.
The latest Earth Resources Tripartite Safety Forum was held at WorkSafe in Melbourne on 24 February 2016. The following information relating to incidents in quarries was presented.
Visits to quarries 1 July 2015 to 31 January 2016
There were 200 visits conducted (including dangerous goods visits), of these visits 57 Notices were issued. Traffic Management / Site Security and Plant Guarding still require the most improvement.
