Since 1985 Kinder Australia has been a leading independent supplier of engineered products that enhance the performance and efficiency of conveyor systems. As Kinder celebrates its 40th Anniversary this year, they would like to thank their dedicated team for their ongoing commitment to delivering industry-leading solutions for bulk materials handling.

Among them, Kinder’s Field Applications Specialists Peter Laskey and Tim Storer exemplify the expertise, creativity, and customer focus that have defined Kinder for the last 40 years.

Peter Laskey – Field Applications Specialist

Peter Laskey has been an integral part of the Kinder team since 2011, covering the expansive western territories of Victoria. With 13 years of experience under his belt, Peter has earned a solid reputation among customers for his practical, downto-earth
approach and commitment to delivering tailored productivity solutions. His astuteness and reliability have made him a trusted advisor to many, ensuring customer needs are not just met but exceeded.

Peter’s transparency and open communication have played a key role in building long-term relationships with customers. These qualities foster confidence and mutual respect, creating partnerships that stand the test of time. Within the team, Peter’s engaging storytelling further sets him apart, enriching both customer interactions and colleague collaborations. Whether solving a complex site issue or sharing an entertaining anecdote, Peter remains an approachable and valued member of the Kinder family.

With over six years at Kinder Australia, Tim Storer brings an energetic and creative flair to his role as Field Applications Specialist. Tim’s ability to connect with people—whether at tradeshows, customer webinars, or staff training sessions—has made him a key driver of engagement and knowledge-sharing across the industry.

Tim is a natural communicator, breaking down complex technical concepts into clear, actionable insights for his audience. His webinars and demonstrations strike the perfect balance between being technically informative and easy to digest, prompting two-way communication and encouraging meaningful conversations.

“It is vital that we stay connected with customers and the industry,” says Tim. “It ensures we can progress, support, and learn.”

At Kinder, the value of “Make Meaningful Connections” underpins our corporate culture—a value that both Tim and Peter, as well as the wider Sales and Engineering team, live every day. Open and honest communication is critical, whether interacting with customers, distributors, suppliers, or teammates. By fostering strong connections, Kinder continues to build trust, collaboration, and success across the industry.

Together, Peter and Tim represent the best of Kinder— experienced professionals who understand the importance of listening to customers, offering innovative solutions, and maintaining the human connection that sets Kinder apart. Their commitment to communication, trust, and technical excellence ensures Kinder remains at the forefront of the bulk materials handling industry.
