The new facility at 3/10 Abbotts Road, Dandenong South replaced the company’s former site in Kilsyth and includes an interactive showroom, expanded warehouse and production lines, showcasing the complete range of capabilities in Australia.

Other special overseas guests included Marco Zaccarelli, Deputy General Manager and Matteo Reggiani, Marketing Director, both from WAMGROUP.

The opening marked the culmination of a rapid expansion strategy – established in 1997, WAM Australia operated for more than two decades primarily as a sales office working with distributors, supported by a team of 15 and an annual turnover of $5-7 million.

In the last three years, the company has undergone a radical shift to a direct-to-market approach. This transformation was strengthened by the strategic acquisition of Bulknet two years ago, further consolidating WAM’s presence in the local market.

WAM Australia now employs nearly 60 people, including 15 dedicated sales staff, and generates more than $18 million in annual revenue.

“Our longstanding partnership with the CMPA is built on a shared commitment to the Australian construction materials industry. With our new manufacturing hub in Dandenong South, we are proud to offer CMPA members even greater support through faster local production and expanded stock availability right here in Victoria.”
