Alex Fraser rocks Dingley Farm
Alex Fraser recently supported and attended the official opening of FareShare’s Dingley Farm – a major new development that will significantly increase the charity’s capacity to grow fresh produce for Australians experiencing food insecurity.

FareShare is a charity which has been cooking free, nutritious meals for people doing it tough since 2001. They are Australia’s largest non-profit kitchens in Melbourne and Brisbane where chefs and volunteers work hand-in-hand to cook the best possible meal for every person in need.
Donating recycled crushed rock, Alex Fraser contribution to this project was part of the Dingley Farm development.
“The launch of FareShare’s Dingley Farm is a powerful example of what can be achieved when industry and community work together,” said Alex Fraser Recycling, General Manager, Murray Butterworth.
Once fully operational, the site is set to triple FareShare’s annual fresh vegetable production, strengthening the sustainability and nutritional value of meals it provides to the community.

“At Alex Fraser, we believe sustainability extends beyond recycling materials – it’s also about supporting initiatives that strengthen communities. Being part of a project that helps turn surplus food into meals for those in need aligns strongly with our values and our commitment to creating positive impact beyond our sites.”
We would like to thank Alex Fraser for being a CMPA Member for over 25 years and for representing the interests of small to medium businesses in the quarry industry.
