DRILLING MEETING
The CMPA’s next general meeting will aim to address some of the more serious hazards associated with drilling in the Quarry Industry.
Initial support has been expressed by Associate Committee Chairperson Mr Andrew Lambing, of Komatsu, who will liaise with other CMPA associate members to ensure full coverage of drilling manufacturers and services at the meeting.
Live demonstrations will be held to provide members with an appropriate example of how to drill safely.
In addition, the final draft procedure document for drilling will also be presented to members.
The procedure document is currently a work in progress and members are invited to provide copies of any existing procedures to Sarah Kerr at the CMPA.
