Associate Committee Meeting 1-2006

On Thursday 23 March the Associate Committee gathered in Sunbury for their first meeting of 2006.

Thank you to Groeneveld Australia who kindly offered their premises in Sunbury for the Committee Meeting.

Topics of discussion included the success of the recent Guarding Workshop, the introduction of a Procedure Document for Associate Marketing, advertising and editorials in the CMPA News and the development of a committee to assist the Secretariat in the organisation of the 2006 AGM & Dinner.

Many thanks to David Batson, Bill Connellan, Frank Santoro, Chris Prowse and Mark Pitham for offering their services on the AGM Committee.

The meeting in Sunbury was followed by a visit to the 2006 AGM Venue – the Ultima Function Centre – off the Calder Freeway in Keilor.

Associate Committee Members were very impressed with the quality of the venue which holds up to 250 people, and are looking forward to another successful event. Sponsorship options for the 2006 function are to be released in the next week.
