Andrew Goldman Excavations and Doosan Construction Equipment
MARK DENNY, Southern Head Office / Manager of Doosan Construction Equipment reports on the strong working bond with Andrew Goldman Excavations.
From an initial first meeting over a Chicken Parma at the “Bottom Pub” in Cobram, Andrew Goldman and Mark Denny have formed a strong working bond since that day back in 2007.
Andrew and his wife Tania, started from humble beginnings in the industry, with Andrew graduating through the ranks of the Australian Armed Forces as a Tank Driver, then within the employment of Frank Rennick & Co undertaking Survey & Design.
Tania progressing through the local Devondale, Murray Goulburn dairy industry. Soon after, with the purchase of their first piece of plant and equipment, the business hit the ground running. In the ensuing years, the growth of the business, through plant and equipment acquisition, saw the relationship between Mark and Andrew flourish.
Mark, having worked at several Equipment Dealerships over the years, found himself in 2010 at the business of Clark Equipment, the Australian distributor for the Doosan Construction Equipment range. Andrew having heard that Mark was now representing Doosan, quickly began to trade out of his existing equipment and into the ever reliable Doosan range of Excavators, Wheel Loaders and Artic Dump Trucks. The operation currently owns in excess of $15M worth of plant and equipment and has recently, in January 2020 opened new Head office facilities, comprising extensive workshop, offices and wash bay facilities.
From the early beginnings, to the scale of operations of today, Andrew and Mark have held steadfast in their mutually respected dealings with each other. Andrew and Tania’s business, has today grown from its infancy into one of North Eastern Victoria’s largest employers across, Quarrying, Agriculture, Civil and Infrastructure. Mark has seen the business grow with the inclusion of the “next generation” of Goldman’s becoming hands on, with Trent, the eldest son, taking on the position of Quarry Manager, Latecia heavily involved with the Administration and Shaun overseeing the Civil Operations.
Led by Andrew Goldman, this business has an integrated position with resources, processing and contracting capabilities. It uses this integrated supply chain to provide innovative solutions for customers in the construction, crushed rock and aggregate industry.
