Associate Committee Meeting

The CMPA 2026-2 meeting was held on18 May 2026 via MS Teams.

Attendees included Tej Panesar (Chair), Stephen McKee, Kath MacInnes, Bradley Adams and David Glover.  Mark Thompson and Ryan Marshall were an apology.  

Sand & Stone Issue 145 has been completed and distributed to members; the digital magazine is also live on the website. This issue was the start of the magazine’s new refreshed look and layout – larger print and improved layout.

Issue 147 (June/July) will have an Advertising Directory toward the back of the magazine for the smaller ads.

Development began on the Sand & Stone website to improve design, navigation and overall user-experience.  

The Preferred Suppliers Directory will be printed and distributed mid-June 2026. The online directory has been updated with all current details as per the printed copy.  Next year the layout, size and format will be improved and, also supplier categories reviewed to make it easier for Members to find suppliers.

Associate Member renewals are coming up at the end of this financial year; all Member and Potential Member correspondence has been updated and approved.  In addition to this, a letter has been developed and approved – to Voting Members, reminding them of the benefits of using CMPA Preferred Suppliers – approved by Jason Comben, Chairperson, CMPA Management Committee.

The Member Services Officer made site visits to current Associate Members and in the future, will undertake two days a month visiting current and potential Members.
