Australian Construction Equipment Expo

By on July 15, 2004

The 4th Australian Construction Equipment Expo (ACE 2005) has been officially launched with almost 60% of exhibition space sold in just 4 weeks.

The event is ideally timed from Thursday 24th to Saturday 26th of February, at an exciting new venue – Sandown Racecourse.  It is the largest event in Australia dedicated to the construction equipment and allied industries, and is staged only every two years to ensure that all the latest gear from around the country is on show.

ACE 2003 was a resounding success and the next event is already shaping up to be even more impressive, once again uniting key buyers and sellers from industries such as civil contracting, earthmoving, quarrying, hire & rental, public works, cranes, demolition, roads, traffic and safety.

The event is strongly supported by key industry Associations including:

– Construction Materials Processors Association (CMPA);
– Australian Asphalt Pavement Association (AAPA);
– Civil Contractors Federation (CCF);
– Construction & Mining Equipment Industry Group (CMEIG);
– Demolition Contractors Association (DCAV);
– Hire & Rental Industry Association (HRIA); and
– The Institute of Quarrying.

 The entire event will be staged on a huge 50,000 square metre grassed area, and with such strong support from the industry the Show looks like being 30% larger than ACE 2003.  Come rain, hail or shine, Sandown will cope with any weather conditions. The venue also has ample sealed car parking, excellent on-site facilities, and is easily accessed via the Princes and Monash Freeways, or even by train.

 Exhibitors already include leading companies such as the Alex Fraser Group, Bobcat, BT Equipment, Bridgestone, CASE, Coates Hire, Coates Shorco Sykes, Construction Equipment Australia, CJD Equipment, Digga, ECH, Hitachi, Indeco, Komatsu, Mack Trucks, Melbourne Tractors, Melroad Equipment, Palfinger, Proskid, Supergroups, Walkers Hammers and William Adams (Caterpillar).

Organisers will again be presenting a comprehensive Seminar Program from high profile industry leaders.  There will be an information stream catering for each major industry sector and the seminars will address many of the key issues facing the industry today.
