CMPA Publication Update

The Secretariat in coordination with machinery suppliers, quarry owners and employees within the industry have done a lot of work over the last twelve months to update and develop publications.
The documentation provided is to ensure the safety of your workers and to ensure you are compliant with OHS regulations.
- Work Safely Reference Manual – has been updated
- Cut, Weld and Bend Materials – has been updated
- Front End Loader, Dump Truck and Excavator – have been developed to replace the Mobile Plant Checklist.
- Acts & Regulations Pack – has been updated
- Health Assessment Pack – has been updated
- Guarding Guidelines – has been developed
The next twelve months will see:
- Minor changes to the Shotfirers Book and Agitator Checklists;
- MPA Publication Update
- Conduct Laboratory Based Acceptance Tests
- A new version of the Blast Management Plan Template;
- Development of the Traffic Management Guidelines and safe working distances from Quarry Faces Guidelines;
- Development of the Service and Maintain Crushers Reference Manual.
