INTERLUDE

If you are unhappy…

Once upon a time there was a non-conforming sparrow who decided not to fly south for the winter.

However soon the weather turned so cold, that he reluctantly started to fly south. In a short time ice began to form on his wings and he fell into a barnyard, almost frozen.

A cow passed by and crapped on the little bird. The sparrow thought it was the end, but the manure warmed him, and defrosted his wings. Warm and happy, able to breath he started to sing. Just then a large cat came by hearing the chirping and investigated the sounds.

The cat cleared away at the manure, found the chirping bird, and promptly ate him.

The moral of the story:

Everyone who craps on you is not necessarily your enemy.
Everyone who gets you out of the crap is not necessarily your friend.
And if you’re warm and happy in a pile of crap, keep your mouth shut.

Brain Teasers:

1.  Using only 4 Straight lines, connect all the dots in the array below.  This must be done without lifting the pen from the paper.

2.  Daniel has two coins which total 30 cents.  Since one of the coins is not 10 cents, what are the two coins?

Solutions at the bottom.

CMPA CALLS FOR SUPPORT

The CMPA is continually on the hunt for good (or bad) news for publishing in the CMPA News.

Have you attended the Work Safely Training, installed a new piece of plant, bought some new equipment, been dissatisfied with your local politician, like to voice your opinion?  We want to know.

We are after stories, and information that is relevant to the CMPA and the industry.  If you have a comment to make on CMPA work, have an issue to raise or think you might have something to offer, type it up and send it into the CMPA as soon as possible.

Along with the stories the CMPA requires “funnies” and “brainteasers” for inclusion in the news.  If you hear a good joke or see something that would amuse others forward it to the CMPA for inclusion in a future issue.
