Mobile Plant Training

Having delivered three Service & Handover Front End Loader courses, the Caterpillar Institute is ready to take on the world with several new units. This will result in detailed training specific to construction material processing businesses available for loader, haul truck and excavator at both a service and handover and operate level.

The training has been designed in such a way that the units dovetail smoothly. That is, if you undertake one of the service and handover units, the second such unit is shorter. The operate units will take into account the fact that some trainees will already have a licence and can therefore be delivered over a shorter time, however will also be able to be delivered so that trainees can earn their national licence.

All these units are designed for Certificate II however can also be undertaken at a Certificate III level. They will form a part of earning a recognised certificate.

Members are asked to contact the CMPA if they would like any of theses courses conducted at their site, or if they would like to review the draft manuals prior to printing.

Training in Quality

An awareness and understanding of the importance of quality workmanship is essential in all business operations. By having an understanding your staff are more effective and customers happier.

We are presently preparing the trainers notes for this course and need you assistance – scenarios!

Please let Sarah Andrew know of any instances either where quality was ensured and a good result achieved or when quality was overlooked and disaster followed. All identifying aspects will be removed, however such real life scenarios ensure your staff are well trained.
