Brain Teaser

Last Sunday evening, Donna and three other members of her yoga club dined out together.

Each woman ordered either salad or soup to start with, and one of the three entrees (cabbage rolls, eggs Benedict, or lasagna).

From the clues below, can you determine each woman’s name and the two dishes she ordered?

  1. Every order was different. Each dish mentioned above was ordered at least once.
  2. Susan and the lady who ordered the salad both ordered lasagna as the main dish.
  3. Rita and Sarah both ordered soup as the first course.
  4. Sarah did not order the eggs Benedict.

2006 CMPA Annual General Meeting & Dinner

We are almost half way through yet another busy year at the CMPA and once again the Annual General Meeting and Dinner are almost upon us.

This year’s event is to be held at the Ultima Function Centre in Keilor on Saturday 12 August and promises to be another fun filled gathering for our Members.

The CMPA is proud to announce this year’s guest speaker will be the Honourable Fran Bailey, Minister for Small Business & Tourism, who will be addressing attendees on issues including how Federal Government is cutting red tape and aims to promote/assist small businesses.

Special thanks to the CMPA’s Associate Members who’s generosity and support of the event has been outstanding this year.

In particular we would like to extend our sincere appreciation towards the Associate’s AGM Sub-Committee (David Batson, Frank Santoro, Mark Thompson, Mark Pitham, Bill Connellan and Chris Prowse) who have gathered to assist the Secretariat in the organisation of the event.

With last year’s event held in Traralgon filling the room to it’s 200 guest capacity, this year’s event is looking to be bigger and better than ever with the CMPA striving to fill the spacious and stylish Brimbank Room with 250 guests from all over Victoria.

We look forward to an evening of exquisite food and wine, impressive entertainment and quality company of fellow industry personnel.

In 2005 attendees were offered a free tour through the Loy Yang Power Station which was enjoyed by all who undertook the tour.

This year a similar event will be organised for those arriving in Melbourne early on the Saturday afternoon. Further details of this activity will be
distributed along with suggestions for family activities on the Sunday.

Invitations for the 2006 event will be distributed to all Members and other industry personnel in the next few weeks and we encourage all Members and their families to book early and guarantee their place at what is sure to be a fantastic event.
