MSC have Moved to Melbourne

By on April 12, 2009

MSC Group has recently purchased a ‘state of the art’ office and workshop facility in Laverton North, reports KIRWAN BARR.

THE property boasts a large modern workshop and spare parts store (1,250m2), plenty of office space (240m2), and over 3000m2 of concrete and asphalt hard stand area.

This new service centre will allow the company to service customers better throughout Victoria, South Australia and Tasmania.

MSC Group State Manager, Ian McCartney says “we now have a real edge over our competitors by offering equipment rentals, new equipment sales and spare parts from a local base in Melbourne, and all under one roof.”

“These facilities were necessary due to the growth experienced by MSC over the last few years” says Ian.

The equipment dry-hire division, MSC Rentals, now operates a fleet of more than 60 rental units, this is a multi brand fleet of late model equipment from the leading European manufacturer.

Three reasons attributed to MSC rentals success over the years is service, service and, service. Unlike most of their competitors, who are primarily focused on equipment sales with dry-hire being secondary, MSC rentals is a dedicated equipment rental company with a strong focus on customer service. All hired equipment is accompanied by MSC Service Personnel to commission the machine to ensure it is set up to operate at optimum performance and train operators to the correct and safe procedures to operating the equipment. This service generally is at no extra charge to customers.

MSC Rentals has recently upgraded their existing rental fleet with a number of new units as well as including some additional models, offering solutions for new equipment sales, used equipment sales, equipment rentals and on-site service and spare parts. The MSC Group has it all under one roof.

CMPA MEMBER TESTIMONIAL

Part of our business is a contract crushing and screening service, and although we have a complete range of crushing and screening equipment to handle most jobs, from time to time we have the need to dry-hire equipment for particular jobs when our equipment is busy.

In the past we have dry-hired equipment and been disappointed with the condition of the equipment and the service provided. Recently we had a job and dry-hired a primary jaw crusher from MSC Rentals. I was very impressed!

The crusher arrived on site clean and serviced ready for work. The guys from MSC Rentals had the machine commissioned, ran through the operational and safety handover with our operators, and we were crushing.

We keep our equipment very well maintained, and the equipment that was supplied by MSC Rentals fits right in with our gear!
