New Face at CMPA

Welcoming Mr Town to the CMPA

Adrian Town is the newest addition to the ranks of the CMPA and will be fulfilling the role of Development Manager.

Adrian retired from Terex Jaques in April 2005 after 46 years of employment. Following is a brief outline of Adrian’s experience and expertise in the industry.

Terex Jaques are manufacturers of crushing, screening and feeding equipment; they also design, manufacture and erect complete fixed, transportable and mobile crushing systems for the Quarrying and Mining industry in Australia and Asia.

Adrian’s working career covered the following roles within the Terex Jaques organisation, the following timing is approximate:

1959-1963 Fitting and turning apprentice
1963-1966 General drafting plant/machines
1966-1968 Terex Jaques design section machines
1968-1974 Victorian sales application engineer
1974-1980 Victorian Sales Manager
1980-1985 Queensland Branch Manager
1985-1987 National Sales Manager Quarrying
1987-1995 National Sales Manager Quarrying & Mining
1995-1998 International Sales Manager
1998-2005 General Manager Marketing & Sales

Adrian’s sales roles at Terex Jaques involved machine selection and recommendations, plant simulation design, customer assistance and negotiations, site visits, and trouble shooting for both quarrying and mining applications.

The Management Committee would like to welcome Adrian on board and wish him all the best in his position. Members will most likely meet Adrian at any upcoming CMPA functions.
