SAND SCULPTING AUSTRALIA – DINOSTORY EXHIBITION

Sand Sculpting Australia – DinoStory Exhibition – comes to Frankston this school holidays with sand supplied by CMPA Member, Aidan J Graham Pty Ltd. Report by SHARON REDMOND, Director, Sandstorm Events.

LOOKING for something unique and different to do this Easter and School Holidays? Then a day of Sandsational Fun on the Frankston Waterfront may be your answer!

Since its opening on the 26 December more than 72,000 people have headed to the Frankston Waterfront to experience Sand Sculpting Australia – DinoStory Exhibition.

On display daily is 3,500 tonnes of sand that has been carved by 21 Australian and International sand sculptors into a valley of prehistoric dinosaurs large and small, towering up to 18 feet in height.

Included free with entry during Easter and the School Holidays are sand workshops, sculptors talks, face painting, storytelling, balloon sculptures and riding the Sand Express.

Extra activities are available for purchase inside the event including Sand Art, Sand Bottles, Dinosaur Gingerbread Decorating, Sand Painting and the Dino Diggers.

After 8pm each evening you can also view the sculptures under lights.
