Riccardo Wong – New CMPA Associate Member
Riccardo Wong is the Melbourne based Business Development Manager for CDE. With a background in chemical engineering, Riccardo begun his career working in the UK within CDE’s environmental division – CDEnviro.
Riccardo moved back to Australia in 2018 as a business development representative helping clients bring new life to what was traditionally considered industrial waste in Australia, by supplying bespoke solutions for recovering reusable material such as washed sand and aggregates from various complex wet and/or contaminated waste streams that would have
otherwise gone to landfill.
Since 2020, Riccardo has expanded his scope to help clients in the mining and quarrying space produce high quality sand and aggregate products for construction with bespoke material washing and water management solutions.
Being a part of the CMPA is a great way of getting a better understanding and appreciation of the industry. It is a great networking opportunity, and ways to gain insightful information through the CMPA workshops. I joined the CMPA Associate Committee to be able to engage with the association in a more active role, and as a result, help navigate the businesses that make up the association in a positive direction.
