WorkSafe Victoria ERTS update

GAVIN MOREIRA, Member Services Manager for the CMPA provides a brief report on the latest incidents as reported to WorkSafe Victoria.
The latest Earth Resources Tripartite Safety Forum was held via MS Teams back on 22nd November 2023. The following information relating to incidents in quarries was presented.
Data takeaways: Increase in preventable injuries associated with hand tools occurring across quarries.
Data takeaways: Loss of control of Quarry Trucks and Slope Stability are also of concern on quarry sites.
