Martyn Heavy Haulage and Fullbore attended Boral Montrose Quarries’ Open Day

Martyn Heavy Haulage and Fullbore attended the Boral Open Day on Saturday 23/11/2024 at Montrose Quarry. It was a scorcher day to say the least but that did not keep anyone away!

This open day was a perfect opportunity to have the community show up with their families and get an insight into what the Quarry Business and Heavy Machinery is all about. Bringing in the next generation, there was plenty there for the kids to see, touch and operate such as the CAT Simulator which was a hit.

We had reptiles, face paint, ice cream and slushies that everyone enjoyed. Big machinery such as our very own Sandvik Pantera DP1500i Drill Rig, new FH700 Prime Mover and Drake Quad Rear Steer Trailer alongside Dump Trucks, Excavators, Loaders and Explosives Trucks.

It was a great learning opportunity for a lot of people who are curious about the industry or if you were already in it, how other companies perform and showcase what they do and potentially how we could all work together to get the job done.

The day was a huge success and we cannot wait for the next one.

MHH recently appointed experienced Logistics Coordinator, Ms Nikita Rogers, with extensive experience in the heavy haulage sector to help drive efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Martyn Heavy Haulage regularly assists its customers in deliveries of oversize heavy equipment to its extensive quarry customers sites located across Victoria NSW and SA.

Future of the company will see us moving into our new facility based in Wodonga purpose built for maintenance of heavy equipment.

Fullbore has been an Associate Member of the CMPA since 2011. They have helped keep our business up to date with the latest legislation and industry trends for which we are grateful.
